Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 18, 2026
Click Smith (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at https://clicksmith.ai (the “Site”) and provides advertising and AI-visibility services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our call-back form, we collect your name, phone number, company website (if you provide it), your preferred time to be called, any additional details you choose to share, and your consent to be contacted. When you call us or email us, we collect the information you provide during that conversation.
Call and text records. Return calls may be placed by an automated (AI-assisted) calling system before a member of our team follows up. Calls with us may be recorded or transcribed for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping. If a call will be recorded, applicable law determines whether and how you are notified.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device and browser type, referring URLs, and ad-click identifiers. This data is collected through Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tags configured within it, which currently include Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry — including calling or texting you back at the number you provided, with your consent.
- To provide, scope, and deliver the Services.
- To measure and improve the Site and our marketing — for example, understanding which ads and pages lead to calls and form submissions.
- To build and measure advertising audiences on platforms such as Google and Meta, including conversion measurement and remarketing.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Calls and text messages (TCPA)
When you check the consent box on our form, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Click Smith at the number you provided, including calls and texts placed using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling you by telling us on a call or emailing hello@clicksmith.ai.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate — such as website hosting, call handling and tracking, CRM, and email providers — under obligations to protect your data.
- Analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) that process usage data and ad identifiers as described above. Depending on your state’s law, this sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; you can opt out as described under “Your rights and choices.”
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- A successor business in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Cookies and opting out of tracking
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. To opt out of interest-based advertising, you can also use the tools provided by the platforms themselves: Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, Meta’s ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info. The Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Data retention
We keep lead and client information for as long as we have an active relationship with you and as needed afterward for legitimate business purposes — such as accounting, dispute resolution, and demonstrating consent — after which it is deleted or anonymized. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the platforms listed above.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We honor these requests regardless of your state. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@clicksmith.ai with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site and Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Users outside the United States
The Site is operated from and directed to the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above. Material changes may also be announced on the Site.
